As a domestic relations attorney,
I represent clients by negotiating settlements or litigating
cases in court. I always approach family transitions with
the goal of proceeding as amicably as possible. When negotiations
fail, however, I am comfortable serving as a zealous advocate
within the court system. I work with clients who get along
well with their spouses and need guidance on legal issues,
and I also represent individuals who have abusive, intractable,
and selfish partners. I have tried numerous cases and settled
many more. Despite the number of divorce and other family
law matters that I have handled, I consider each and every
new case to be unique and deserving of individual attention.
As an attorney,
I always search for a creative solution. Sometimes this
involves seeking Court orders and other times it involves
long talks with my client or opposing counsel to develop
fair settlement offers that take into consideration the
needs of all concerned parties. At all times, I am very
child-focused, and encourage my clients to keep their children's
needs at the forefront when considering various legal options.
